DMX started rapping around the late 1990s. He debuted his debut album It's Hot and Hell is Dark on the 19th of May, 1998. Among his other albums were... And then There was X, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... again the Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ Flesh of Blood and Flesh. The album ... And Then There was X was also nominated for a Grammy for the Best Rap Album category in 2001. As well as his rap profession, he's also participated in film projects such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds Always Die Alone Never Die Alone Bleeding Romeo Will Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw The Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
